Researching Agricultural Science Affiliated Murdoch Appointed 2020
Dr Kate Loudon’s research aims to infuse new livestock measurement technologies into the beef supply chain to enable the true value of the animal to be traded. The project aims to not only equip producers with precision objective measurements but to set up the pathways such that the data from these technologies can flow up and down the supply chain to create a level of vertical integration.
Kate will work within the team lead by Professor Graham Gardner at Murdoch University, an expert in the red meat value chain and Principal Investigator of the ALMTech Project (Advanced measurement technologies for globally competitive Australian meat).
